I lost a tiny thing on the floor, and I found it using this simple technique

At any point of time we would have desperately searched for that tiny thing all over the house even if we know that thing was lost in a particular place.

Now I will teach you a technique to find that lost thing without much physical and mental anxiety.

I named this as the shadow technique.

Sometimes shadows are bigger than the actual object according to the orientation of the light source.

You need

1. A torch light (even the flash in your mobile phone will do).
2. Its a hoorey if you can make the room dark where the object has been lost.

Ok I will come to the how to do part,

  • Kneel at the center of the room
  • Then make the room dark if you can (take the help of ur sis or bro)
  • Switch on the torch and make the light to fall on the entire line of the floor from your point to the wall.
  • Keep the light parallel to the floor (a position that is obtained when you leave your torch lying on the floor pointing the wall).
  • Now you can see the dust or small upright things clearly, thank the shadow.
  • Slowly rotate the torch to traverse all the area of the floor.
  • Please make sure you take any newspapers lying in the floor, this may obstruct the view of all things that lies behind it.
  • Turn the torch until you've got what you lost.
You can find even the smallest of things with great accuracy and efficiency. Happy finding. Leave a comment if you have more ideas to shape this up.

Cool sites to backup ur precious files

Everyone should have came across a computer crash, that would have ate all your data. Leaving you red faced over your computer. You may had used a External hard disk drive to prevent these sort of situations, but what happens when your External hard disk drives too fails. The only other option to back up your files, documents and photos is to upload it to a online backup server. Here I have reviewed two sites offering online backup services for free.

The first site is Adrive, which offers 50GB of free space for free user and has various attractive prices for more storage space. This site doesn't need any downloads for uploading but you have to signup for the service. Also it is the only free site to offer a huge amount of space for free.

The other is Dropbox, which offers 2GB of free space, wait wait, but the services are quite new. You have to download a installer and run it. Using this you can just drag and drop the files which have to be uploaded. You can also get free space upto a limit of 8GB by referring your friends and filling up details in the site. There is also a video tutorial for starters. The advantage of dropbox over adrive is that you can upload the files at ease and also you can share your files among a group. For this your group doesn't have to register at this site. For more review please visit the For your computer page.

Apart from this Microsoft is also offering online space for your data in the name of skydrive. Those who already have a windows live, msn or hotmail account
